Complete Quests
Completing some of the early quests will reward you with characters. These characters help give you a proper starting party that will help you early in the game!

Use Wishes (Gacha)
The primary way to get more characters is by using the Wish feature. This is what makes the game a gacha game. By wishing, you can gain good equipments and characters. You can try and save up your fate items and use them in bulk or wish everytime you can, the choice is up to you but never ignore the wish feature if you're looking for new characters.
