The Trounce Domain of the Knave is located in the Liffey Region in Fontaine, just south of Mont Esus East. It can be found next to some unnamed circular ruins.

You can fight Arlecchino's boss form by completing her Story Quest and you can fight her as soon as you reach Adventure Rank 40.

How to Beat The Knave (Arlecchino) Boss

The Knave Has Two Forms

Like all the other Harbingers we've fought so far, Arlecchino has 2 forms. Her first form consists of leaps and melee strikes, and her second form will increase her agility and dexterity, enabling her to execute longer attack strings.

She will also be able to fly around the battlefield, evading several of your attacks, while sending forth powerful projectiles. Pay attention to her attack patterns and prediction lines and avoid them as best you can!

The Knave Attack Patterns

Clear Bond of Life to Gain Scarlet Nighttide

A large number of the Knave's attacks will inflict you with a Bond of Life status that will absorb any healing for it to be cleared, and will add to any incoming DMG.

However, clearing it will bestow your next Charged Attack with Scarlet Nighttide, which will deal massive True DMG to the Knave and leave her open for attacks!

Clear Bond of Life to Interrupt Bloodtide Banquet

The Knave's strongest attack, Bloodtide Banquet, will bestow Bond on Life to your characters as she starts casting it. To counteract this, clear the Bond of Life status and use a Charged Attack to interrupt it.

This will leave the Knave vulnerable for a short period of time, allowing you to stack up on damage and unleash all your Elemental Bursts as necessary!

Bring Characters with Fast Charged Attacks

Taking how Scarlet Nighttide and Bloodtide Banquest works, it's best to bring along characters such as Wriothesley and Neuvillette that can execute Charged Attacks quickly.

Failing to clear the Bond of Life before Arlecchino's next attack will have severely adverse consequences and can potentially one-shot a character.

Focus on Healers and Shields

Since the Bond of Life status is your gateway to an attack opening against the Knave, clearing it ahead of time is in your best interest. Characters like Baizhu, Furina, and Kokomi can almost instantly clear the Bond of Life status.

This will make for easier access to Scarlet Nighttide, allowing you to incapacitate the Knave more frequently. Top it off with shields to negate any additional damage from her attacks and just get the Bond of Life.

1st Form

Attack Pattern	Information
Fiery Slashes	A series of Pyro-infused slash attacks.
Fiery Plunge	The Knave rises high into the air and slams down on the ground, dealing AoE Pyro DMG and applying Bond of Life.
Fiery Lunge	The Knave charges her attack and lunges at you.
Fiery Swoop	The Knave rises into the air and lunges at you. Has longer range than Fiery Lunge.
Fiery Chakram	The Knave infuses her scythe with Pyro and throws it forth like a chakram.
Fiery Lattice	AoE attacks executed in a criss-cross pattern ending in a large radius. Prediction lines will be displayed. Applies Bond of Life.
Fiery Flurry	A string of attacks that applies Bond of Life, sends forth projectiles, and ends with several slash attacks. Clear Bond of Life and use Charged ATK to gain Scarlet Nighttide.
Bloodtide Banquet	Applies Bond of Life to your active character and unleashes an extremely powerful attack. Can one-shot a party member. Interrupt to leave the Knave vulnerable.

2nd Form

Attack Pattern	Information
Dark Plunge	Always executed at the start of the 2nd phase. The Knave slams at your position, dealing AoE Pyro DMG and applying Bond of Life.
Fiery Fury	A string of Pyro-infused slash attacks.
Particle Beam	The Knave sends forth a large long-ranged laser that strikes in a straight line.
Fiery Pull	The Knave user her scythe to grapple at your location and pull herself to launch an attack.
Bloodtide Banquet (Blast)	Applies Bond of Life to your active character and unleashes 3 AoE blasts in succession that deal severe DMG. Can one-shot a party member. Interrupt to leave the Knave vulnerable.
Dark Fusillade	The Knave flies off-field and sends forth a barrage of projectiles that home in on targets, ending with 6 dark spheres that plant themselves on the ground and explode.
