This weapon is only useful during early parts of the game, until you can get a 3-star weapon of the same type.
Instead, use this weapon to enhance other weapons, or convert it into Weapon Enhancement Materials by Destroying it in the Inventory.

Why is ANY 3-star weapon better?

3-star weapons and up all have various skills that boost your characters attack or stats, but none of the 1 or 2-star weapons do. 3-star weapons also have better stats by default, so this weapon has absolutely nothing to offer compared to even a badly matched 3-star.
