As the name implies, the Prophet has a high Faith stat. It also has the Clawmark Seal as a starting weapon, so the Prophet can use Incantations like Heal, which scale with Faith. Since its Vigor and Endurance are low, it's best to approach battles cautiously in the early game.
With a paltry 10 in Vigor, start investing in this stat right away if you want to survive combat with more than a sliver of health. The Prophet has enough Strength and Faith to handle early weapons and Incantations, so spend your Runes and get the Vigor stat to 20 as soon as possible.
After raising Vigor to a comfortable level, it's time to turn your focus to Faith so the Prophet can make the most of Incantations. If you're going to specialize as a Prophet, you gotta have Faith!
