How to Play Ground War

Ground War in Modern Warfare 2 returns new and improved. Featuring massive maps and the ability to use vehicles, players can now fight enemies by land, sea, or air in this massive 32v32 game mode.
Just like Domination, Ground War is a capture-and-hold game mode, making players capture 5 different checkpoints on the map (A, B, C, D, and E). The first team to get 200 Points wins the match.

Maps in Ground War are quite massive and are perfect for sniping and this loadout is for players that wish to do just that. The MCPR-300 lets you snipe enemies from great distances while the JOKR can be used on enemy vehicles.

Players that choose to capture or defend any of the 5 points on the map can equip this loadout for a better combat experience. Once you get your Ultimate Perk, you can combine that with Dead Silence and move undetected to ambush enemies.
Tips and Strategies for Ground War
Move Between Objectives
There are 5 points of interest in Ground War and you will need to control them to get a better chance of winning. If you find yourself losing control of a point, it might be better to concede and regroup with your team. You can get back to it once your team gets better control of the battlefield.
Scale the Structures
Ground War maps are unique from other game modes that take place on smaller maps as you can climb different buildings and get a variety of vantage points. Take advantage of this feature by getting to the top of the different structures where you can attack unsuspecting enemies from above.
