Player Showcase Bug Fix
Fortunately, Infinity Ward released an update that will address the Showcase bug in-game. Make sure to download this update to edit your showcase without experiencing any issues.
Also Addresses Other Map Exploits and Bugs
According to the Twitter Post, this update fix also resolves some of the map exploits and other gameplay bugs throughout the game. You can check Infinity Ward's Trello Board to see more known and already addressed issues for Modern Warfare 2!
Player Showcase Bug
Prevents Players from Editing the Showcase Profile
Players have reported that editing the showcase is not working properly in-game. This bug doesn't let players change the item for the showcase, even after selecting a different one. It applies to all showcase buttons and features such as Calling Card Showcase, Emblem Showcase, Weapon Showcase, and Operator Showcase.
