Players across all platforms will get an active double XP reward to celebrate the Season 1 Reloaded update. PlayStation users will have advanced 1-day access to the Double XP event, starting on December 14, 2022, at 10 AM PT. Use these times to grind for weapon and XP levels and obtain gun attachments and progression rewards in the game!
Double XP Event Guide
Shipment will be launching with the Season 1 Reloaded update. This will be an updated version of the fan-favorite map from Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare. Instead of the original map's shipping yard location, this version will be set on a cargo ship in the middle of the ocean.
This is a compact map with tight spaces, meaning there will be plenty of action and firefights at every corner. Due to the abundance of engagements, players will definitely use this map to complete camo challenges.

Shipment will have a decorated holiday season look to commemorate with the current season. It will start on December 21, 2022 and ends on January 4, 2023.
Klaus, a new operator will be part of Season 1 Reloaded. While details of his appearance remain scarce, he's known for having natural night vision, indicating that he may be part of the stealthier group of Operators.
Currently, the only known way to unlock him will be to get a bundle from the Store.

Gaz will also become a playable Operator once the mid-season update comes. He'll be appearing in one of his combat outfits from the game's campaign.

How to Unlock All Operators
The new Chimera Assault Rifle will be available with the mid-season update. It will have an integrated suppressor so you won't have to unlock that attachment, and will be great for close engagements. This a weapon geared towards players who excel at stealth, especially since it uses Subsonic Ammo, which hides death markers/skulls from the enemy team.
You can unlock this by purchasing a Store bundle or doing Weapon Unlock challenges.
All Assault Rifles
Raids will be a cooperative game mode for Trios that will act as a continuation of the main game's Campaign. Similar to Spec-Ops, it will have you doing a variety of objectives, from stealthily sneaking through a base to solving puzzles.

Atomgrad Raid is the first Raid coming to Modern Warfare II. On this map, you will be helping Captain Price, Farah, and Gaz discover the hidden secrets of the highly fortified bunker underground.
Completing this Raid will unlock Gaz as a playable Operator in Multiplayer and Warzone 2.0, a new high-difficulty playlist, and intel that will give out cosmetic rewards for you to use.

There will be new keys in Al Mazrah that will lead you inside the biological laboratory called Building 21. You will get a high-tier Contraband inside the building which you can use on the current DMZ match or the next one to get the upper hand against other players, including AI Combatants.

Warzone Cup is a new game mode available for the Modern Warfare FC Event. It is a game mode where every player on the field will have an ATV with a pulse ability to push the football to score against the opposing team. The first team to score five goals or have the most goals after five minutes in the mtach will win the game.

Another traditional Battle Royale game mode called Mini Royale is coming on Warzone 2.0. It features a smaller map to fight in to test your abilities in close combat.

Dune Stalker is the Season 1 Reloaded recommended starter pack to be the mid-season update with new and increased firepower in the game. It comes with a new SMG Blueprint and Sniper Rifle Blueprint alongside other cosmetics such as a Vehicle Skin, Weapon Charm, and Animated Emblem.

A Chinese new year themed bundle will also make its way to the in-game store. It highlights the Zodiac Rabbit Operator Skin for Zimo and two new Weapon Blueprints in the game. There are also Weapon Charms and Animated Emblems included in the bundle.
There is a new feature in MWII and Warzone 2.0 called Groups, where players can create their own group and invite players to make new friends, find someone to form a party or talk about other things. It is similar to making a Clan in other Call of Duty titles.
Note that a single group can hold up to 5,000 players in the game.
Combat Record won't be coming out along with the Mid-Season update on December 14, contrary to the recent blog post announcement. It means we won't be able to check our KD stats and other combat info for Warzone 2.0 when the update drops.

From December 15 to December 18, Major I for the Call of Duty League, with a prize pool of $500,000, will be held at the Raleigh Convention Center in Raleigh, North Carolina. The Call of Duty: Mobile 2022 World Championship Finals will also be held at the same place and time.

Activision has organized new merchs to their shop celebrate this holiday season. There are plenty of items to choose from with different Call of Duty designed items.
- The XP tokens menu has been changed to display how much time is left on your XP tokens in the lobby screen.
- XP Tokens can now be equipped in the pause menu while in-game.
- XP Tokens can no longer be accidentally activated during Double XP events.
- Players who join a game in progress will no longer get a loss if their team loses the match.
- Attachments now have a tuning icon on them in preview,, indicating which ones can be tuned and which ones cannot.
- Finishing Moves now count towards the 30 kills in third person Daily Challenge in Special Ops.
- "Stickerbook Challenges” in the After Action Report screen now say “Calling Card Challenge” instead.
- Operator bios are no longer cut off part of the way through.
- Acquiring a new blueprint will now display a pulsing dot next to the associated weapon in Gunsmith.
- Players will no longer seeing a black screen on some platforms when trying to purchase CP.
