Fox Quest Guide |

To start the quest, head to the Forest of Felicity Shrine and go to the nearby arch. Talk to the corpse with the Fox Scarf three times and it will ask you to get revenge on a Yaoguai. It will give you the Snow Fox Brush so you can disguise yourself as the fox when used.
From there, you need to go to the Temple Entrance Shrine at Thunderclap Temple. If you've been there you can just teleport via a shrine, but if you haven't, go through the arch and follow the long path forward until you get there.
Non-Void Boss Location | |
---|---|
1 | Starting at the Temple Entrance shrine in the New Thunderclap Temple, head straight into the building and exit from the backside. |
* | Try not to get into any fights before the boss as the enemies here can whittle you and your resources down before you can get to the boss. It's recommended to transform into the Fox so that you don't draw any attention, but some enemies can see through your disguise. |
2 | After getting to the back, head up the staircase to your left. After you reach the top, drop down and head into the building you see in front of you. |
3 | Head up the building and exit out to the back where you will see a bridge. From there, head up the staircase in Fox Form and head up to the monk. |
4 | A cutscene will play and then you now have to fight the Non-Void Boss! Make sure that you're tranformed into the Fox, otherwise, you won't get the cutscene and the quest becomes uncompletable |
After beating Non-Void and claiming your rewards, you can head back to the Fox and it will turn the Snow Fox Brush into a Curio for you. When equipped, it will extend the duration of your transformations!
Non-Void Squire Strategy |
---|
|
Non-Void likes to attack from a great distance away from you so use Thrust stance to hit him from afar. While Pole Stance is great for closing the gap, be careful as his attacks can home in on you on top of the Pole.
Due to his size, Non-Void is pretty easy to stagger. Use the Wind Tamer from Chapter 2's Sceret Area and your transformations to stagger him to deal massive damage with a combo within his vulnerability window.
You can also use the Cloud Step spell to hit him from behind and start a stagger combo. This can also be used to help you clear the gap between the two of you.
Make sure to always approach him instead of waiting for him to get close to you. To this vein, transformations like the Azure Dust and Rock Solid aren't recommended due to their defensive nature.
