Guangmou is located in the Bamboo Grove area, just past the snake enemies near the Snake Trail Keeper's Shrine. To reach Guangmou's boss arena, start at the Shrine, cross the river, and follow the path into the bamboo grove. Continue along the path, passing by the snake enemies, until you reach the statues that mark the entrance to Guangmou's boss arena.
Guangmou Strategy |
---|
|
When Guangmou summons his spectral snakes, they can inflict you with Poison, a status effect that gradually drains your health. Poison lasts for a long time and can be the deciding factor in whether you survive a lethal hit.
To prevent Poison from significantly reducing your health, use Antimiasma Powders to cure this status effect. You can purchase Antimiasma Powders from the Keeper's Shrine Stores for 180 Will each.
Once Guangmou's health drops below a certain threshold, he will begin summoning spectral snakes that fire poison projectiles at you. Attempting to perform any combo attack against Guangmou during this phase will almost certainly result in being hit by one of these projectiles, staggering you and inflicting Poison.
To counter this, it's best to save your Transform spell for when Guangmou summons the snakes. Transforming during this phase allows you to absorb hits and continue attacking Guangmou without interruption.
If Guangmou summons spectral snakes and you don't have your Transformation spell ready, it's advisable to avoid engaging him directly to minimize the risk of being hit by the snakes and getting Poisoned.
