Guangzhi is a Yaoguai Chief boss enemy found in Black Myth: Wukong. Read on to know more about Guangzhi, its stats, location, rewards, as well as a detailed strategy on how to beat it.
To prove his worth, he gave sinister advice, Yet reaped the bitter fruits of his own vice. Though justice remains silent, it never sleeps, And when it strikes, no on escapes its reach.
Guangzhi can be found in the Forest of Wolves, near the Outside the Forest Keeper's Shrine. From the shrine, follow the path past the enemy wolves. After crossing the bridge, continue along the path until you reach the gate leading to an open area where Guangzhi awaits.
Guangzhi is a challenging boss, especially in the early game. If you’re having trouble, consider defeating nearby enemies to level up and gain Sparks. Sparks are used to learn new skills and spells. We recommend upgrading the Immobilize spell with your Sparks before facing Guangzhi.
Dodge to Remove Scorch
If you find yourself getting the Scorch status effect from Guangzhi's attacks, you can dodge three times to get rid of the status effect. However, be cautious not to deplete your stamina by spamming dodge, as it can leave you vulnerable. You can also use Body-Cooling Powders, which can be purchased at the Keeper's Shrines, to remove the Scorch status effect instantly.
Build Up Focus Points
Guangzhi is a fast-moving boss that can easily punish slow, charged attacks. Instead of charging heavy attacks manually, focus on dodging and using Light Attacks to build up Focus Points. Once you’ve built up enough Focus Points, you can unleash an instant fully-charged Heavy Attack for significant damage.
