Installation Guide

This mod will be Nexus-exclusive (Third Party) until the new Toolkit offers import features or I find the time to completely rebuild it.

This mod officially supports progression to Level 20 with Expansion.  Other similar mods will probably work, but I am not testing them.
For the best tabletop Barbarian experience in BG3 I highly suggest you also use a mod that implements Reckless Attack properly.  I recommend mine.
Script Extender is required for Battlerager armor spike attacks to count as magical when you are wearing magical armor - soft requirement.
The following mods pair very nicely with this mod, and are optional: Dr. Kekyll's Grappling Framework, Grappler FeatTavern Brawler RAWTasha's Fighting Styles RAW.
Path of the Battlerager
Known as Kuldjargh (literally "axe idiot") in Dwarvish, battleragers are dwarf followers of the gods of war and take the Path of the Battlerager. They specialize in wearing bulky, spiked armor and throwing themselves into combat, striking with their body itself and giving themselves over to the fury of battle.
Restriction: Dwarves Only
Only dwarves can follow the Path of the Battlerager. The battlerager fills a particular niche in dwarven society and culture.
Your DM can lift this restriction to better suit the campaign. The restriction exists for the Forgotten Realms. It might not apply to your DM's setting or your DM's version of the Realms.

IMPLEMENTATION:  I am not aware of a way to limit Subclass selection by Race, so this is not implemented.  You do however get kudos from me for playing it as a Dwarf and being true to cannon, as well as a little Easter Egg in the mod.
Battlerager Armor
When you choose this path at 3rd level, you gain the ability to use spiked armor as a weapon.
While you are wearing spiked armor and are raging, you can use a bonus action to make one melee weapon attack with your armor spikes against a target within 5 feet of you. If the attack hits, the spikes deal 1d4 piercing damage. You use your Strength modifier for the attack and damage rolls.
Additionally, when you use the Attack action to grapple a creature, the target takes 3 piercing damage if your grapple check succeeds.
IMPLEMENTATION:  Rules as Written.  Requires Grappling Framework for the second part of the feature.  For anyone who does not want to use the Grappling Framework, the grapple damage will also apply if you Throw a creature (closest thing to grappling that we have in BG3 native).  In tabletop, Spiked Armor is basically a Breastplate that can be used as a weapon by Battleragers.  The mod will unlock the Battlerager Armor features if you are wearing medium metal armor only.

NOTES:  The armor spike attack is considered a weapon attack, and will inherit any attack roll bonuses from your mainhand weapon.  I think this is fine, so it scales somewhat while you play.
Reckless Abandon
Beginning at 6th level, when you use Reckless Attack while raging, you also gain temporary hit points equal to your Constitution modifier (minimum of 1). They vanish if any of them are left when your rage ends.
IMPLEMENTATION:  Rules as Written.
Battlerager Charge
Beginning at 10th level, you can take the Dash action as a bonus action while you are raging.
IMPLEMENTATION:  Rules as Written.
Spiked Retribution
Starting at 14th level, when a creature within 5 feet of you hits you with a melee attack, the attacker takes 3 piercing damage if you are raging, aren't incapacitated, and are wearing spiked armor.
IMPLEMENTATION:  Rules as Written.  Keep in mind that you have to be very close to your attacker for this to trigger.
