Throw a Throwing Knife through the Gate

Head to the front side of the Damascus Gate Prison and eliminate the guards as you head towards the window location shown in the images above.
1. Destroy the Wooden Beam through the Gate
Use your Throwing Knife and aim at the wooden beam on the barred door until your crosshair turns red.
If you cannot find the area where to throw the Throwing Knife at, you can use Eagle Vision as it will display it with a red glow.
2. Head to the Opposite Side to Reach the Door
Head to the opposite side of the gate to reach the door. Open it and head inside to find the gear chest.
