All New Features and Gameplay Differences

New Features and Gameplay
Assassin's Focus
Ubisoft revealed a new ability called Assassin's Focus, where you can execute a chain assassination on selected targets. It looks like you'll be teleporting from one target to another, but it's just a demonstration of Basim's incredibly high agility and mastery of the art.
Returning Features
Assassination and Combat
Instant-kill assassinations will be making their return without the need to configure it in the settings, while melee combat will follow the same flow as Assassin's Creed: Valhalla where enemies have a stamina bar you can deplete to kill them instantly.
Assassin's Tools
The assassin's tools are making a comeback from the earlier games of the franchise. Returning tools such as smoke bombs, noisemaker, and blow darts are making their return for Basim to utilize during missions.

Social Stealth
Social stealth is making a highlight return in Baghdad's busy districts where Basim can blend with the crowd and environment to stalk his target or gather information.
Although social stealth was present in previous titles, the open-world aspect of those games overshadowed the use of social stealth.
Difference From Older Games
Very Similar Gameplay to Earlier Games
Assassin's Creed Mirage's gameplay and mechanics are similar to the franchise's earlier titles. Ubisoft announced that this will pay homage to the roots of the franchise. This includes advanced stealth mechanics, satisfying assassinations, and fluid parkour thanks to the compact design of Baghdad.
The recent games were leaning more on combat than stealth, and it's nice to know that they're making the game with assassination in its center again.
Combined Mechanics from Previous Games
Elements and mechanics from old and recent games alike are added in Assassin's Creed Mirage. An assassin's Eagle Vision together with their trusted animal companion to survey an area makes a return in AC Mirage.
Recent Assassin's Creed games have their themes and gimmicks. AC Mirage takes some elements from the recent games and puts it on top of the core mechanics the older games possess to have a fluid and exciting gameplay!
