Jailbreak Mission Walkthrough

1. Meet Fuladh
Fuladh is located on the rooftops across the street from Damascus Gate Prison. Speak with him to initiate the mission.
2. Breach The Prison
Use Enkidu to locate two different optional objectives Basim could take to breach Damascus Gate Prison. There are multiple methods to breach the prison using other interactibles.
Alternatively, Basim could also opt to breach the prison alone. Albeit at a higher difficulty. Any of the chosen methods of breaching the Prison will result in Basim being able to enter the prison.
Solo Route
The easiest way for Basim to enter the prison alone is by scaling the prison's western turret to reach the upper levels of the prison. From there, Basim can access the prison by entering the prison yard from above.
Optional Route 1: Merchants
Situated near the western turret is a merchant who will sneak Basim inside in exchange for a Merchant Favor Token.
How to Farm Merchant Favor Tokens
Optional Route 2: Mercenaries
Towards the prison's southern turret are remnants of Ali's men who will engage the guards in exchange for a Power Favor Token.
Basim should have one of these as a reward from completing the Contact The Rebels main mission.
3. Find and Liberate Ali
Ali ibn Muhammad is imprisoned at the innermost chamber of Damascus Gate Prison.
To locate him, Basim must enter the prison yard and follow the objective marker while sneaking or fighting past any guards that might get in his way.
Guard's Quarters
As Basim continues to make his way towards Ali, he will eventually reach a large room with some guards and an opening in the center.
One of the doors in this room will be locked and have a red carpet. This room is the Guard's Quarters. Remember this for later.
4. Fight The Jailer
Basim will find Ali being tortured by the Jailer. Sneak up behind the Jailer and assassinate him to free Ali and acquire the Damascus Gate Prison Keys.
These prison keys act like a skeleton key, unlocking most doors Basim will find within the prison.
5. Find The Guard's Quarters
Remember the Guard's Quarters we mentioned in step 3? Locate the Guard's Quarters by backtracking your way through the prison to view a cutscene and progress the mission.
Take note that unlocking the door with the prison keys will trigger three guards to spawn from behind Basim and Ali. Run through the door, up the stairs and into the next room or face the guards with Ali.
6. Escape The Prison
Escape the prison however you see fit and become anonymous to complete this main mission. To become anonymous, you have to be free from the sight of enemies. Continue running and find a good hiding spot to successfully accomplish the task.
Tips and Strategies for Jailbreak
Follow The Objective Marker
Once Basim enters the prison yard, the objective marker will start to appear on your screen. Make sure to follow it whenever you feel lost as the interior of Damascus Gate Prison can be labyrinthine and somewhat difficult to navigate.
