List of Contents
In the Street Kid Lifepath, V starts out in a bar at the slums of Heywood, helping their friend settle his debt by doing a job for the gangster harassing him.
Right from the start, you're already introduced to the undercity environment. Street Kid V already knows everything in the streets: fixers, pushers, gangsters, and the like.
But despite growing in a harsh, violent environment, Street Kid V is shown to be someone who values friendship. He's willing to do unfavorable jobs and stepping into danger just to protect those he care about.
Right from the prologue, you'll encounter a couple of fixers who already has history with you: Kirk and Padre. This is a thing that a Streetkid has over the other lifepaths: people in the streets already know you, and you already know them. In other lifepaths, you'll be strangers to many of the people you'll encounter.
And this is a decent advantage for a Streetkid; your connections in the past are valuable, since you'll be spending a lot of time in the streets of Night City after getting off the prologue.
Your life in the streets give you a lot of street knowledge: the gangs, the prominent undercity figures, and the underground dealings that those from other lifepaths don't.
Your knowledge about gangs is valuable in a number of quests. You can bluff being in the Tyger Claws to access Fingers' clinic in The Space in Between, and having Imad reveal Anna Hammill's location in Woman of La Mancha. In Raymond Chandler Evening, you can intimidate the gang members by mentioning Mama Welles.
Upon starting the game having chosen the Street Kid lifepath, you'll find yourself in a bar in the slums of Heywood with your unique prologue starting quest being The Streetkid.
The Streetkid Quest Walkthrough
The second unique Street Kid quest is Small Man, Big Mouth, a side quest that you can unlock after completing the Act 2 quest, Heroes.
Small Man, Big Mouth Quest Walkthrough
You'll start the game with V's dirty street attire, composed of three clothing items.
If you chose to be a male character, you'll start with V's Stained Tank Top, V's Streetwear Pants, and V's Street Kicks.
If you chose to be a female character, you'll start with V's Tattered Crop Top, V's Streetwear Pants, and V's Street Tongues instead.
The exclusive item that Streetkids get aside from the starting attire is the SEMURAI Crystaljock Bomber, a knockoff jacket that you can obtain during the Small Man, Big Mouth quest.

The Street Kid lifepath will give you advantages in the missions that take place in settings that involve the lower life: streets, slums and gang locations.
Unlike the Corpo and Nomad lifepaths where their advantages are clumped in certain parts of the game, the Street Kid advantage is present throughout the whole game, since you'll be spending a huge amount of your time dealing with underworld entities in Night City.
