How Builds Work

No Defined Class System

Cyberpunk 2077 does not have a set system where the player picks a class. Instead, the player will use aspects like attributes, skills, and equipping cyberware to suit their character to a specific playstyle.

Players Can Allocate Attributes

Similar to the systems found in other open-world RPGs, including CD Projekt Red's own The Witcher series, players will be able to allocate attribute points to power up their character and get perks of their choice.

You Can Respec Attributes Once

With the arrival of Update 2.0, you are now able to respec attributes points once per save file due to the reworked perks and skill progression that was implemented in the major update.

Note that you don't need to own Phantom Liberty to get access to the attribute respec.

Can You Reset Attributes and Respec Perks?

You Can Refund Perks

Perks, meanwhile, can be refunded as many times as you like, so you may reallocate points to get perks whenever you want to change your playstyle.
