Jump King review - "Getting some serious vertical rage!"
Jump King review - "Getting some serious vertical rage!"The scary truth is that there are monsters among the billions of humans worldwide. Some of these monsters put their energy into games designed to infuriate and crush all hope. However, we have the power to slay these beasts by never giving up and beating their malicious creations. The monstrous Nexile has emerged from the cave of Ukiyo Publishing to bring us a portable version of Jump King. This 2D platformer has destroyed lives with its vertical-based gameplay and the promise of a "smoking hot babe!" We take up that sword, the touchscreen, to face the monster once again, but in mobile combat. ... [ MORE ]

GoCube review - "Rubik's cube fun"
GoCube review - "Rubik's cube fun"When it comes to Rubik's cubes, I don't know how to solve them. They feel like that staple that every child gets in their lifetime, but unless your parent knows how to solve them, it becomes a sort of broken toy. The GoCube, however, combines technology with a physical cube, which can both teach you how to solve cubes and also work as a controller when playing a bunch of mini-games. GoCube Itself ... [ MORE ]

Dark and Darker Mobile review - "Dungeon runs while on the run"
Dark and Darker Mobile review - "Dungeon runs while on the run"There's a simple charm that comes with wanting to get a bunch of people together to go adventuring. It refers to the days when we were kids in our insert-publicly-accessible-space-name-here getting together to imagine we were warriors, astronauts, or what-have-yous to play together. Some try to capture that feeling with Dark And Darker approaching it and Dark And Darker Mobile trying to get closer. Krafton and Bluehole have teamed up to make this online dungeon-crawling experience something you can play whenever you need a fix of fantasy adventuring. But let's look at how the mobile version changes the game. ... [ MORE ]

IWALK StandMe 3-In-1 Charging Station review - "Turn your phone into a clock"
IWALK StandMe 3-In-1 Charging Station review - "Turn your phone into a clock"I am a big fan of wirelessly charging things. I don't like messing around with cables late at night - it's just not something I spend time doing. The IWALK StandMe 3-In-1 Charging Station is a wireless charging station that can charge your Apple Watch, AirPods and iPhone, all at once.  If you are someone that has an iPhone, you likely also have AirPods and an Apple Watch to complete the family. The IWALK StandMe is quite compact, a thin cylinder that doesn't take up much room on your desk or side table. It comes with a USB-C cable and an American outlet adaptor. Once you have the device plugged in, you can pull out parts that charge different devices. ... [ MORE ]

The Art of Fauna review - "Stunning, educational puzzles"
The Art of Fauna review - "Stunning, educational puzzles"The Art of Fauna is a more traditional puzzle game for mobiles. And by that I mean you are looking at big pictures that have been broken up into puzzle pieces, waiting for you to connect them. All of the pieces are rectangular at first, all the same size, so the shape of these pieces won't help you solve them. Instead, the focus is on the stunning pictures. Each puzzle has an animal featured on it, with its own bit of artwork. Some are more detailed than others, some have more of an environment to them, but all of them are really stunning. As you find pieces that connect, they sort of form together, so you can end up with a big piece that's a bit hard to move around. The screen almost feels like it has limited space, so sometimes you do need to make room for your larger piece and build around it.  ... [ MORE ]

DOOGEE S200 review - "A potent smartphone for the adventurous"After reviewing the DOOGEE V40 Pro a few months ago, I was incredibly eager to get my hands on the DOOGEE S200, and I have to say it didn't disappoint. An absolute beast of a phone, the S200 charms users with its mecha design and oversized screen, and that's just the tip of the iceberg. Unboxing the DOOGEE S200 ... [ MORE ]

Kardboard Kings review - "Cool concept, clunky controls"
Kardboard Kings review - "Cool concept, clunky controls"While cooking sims and business tycoons are a dime a dozen these days, how often do you chance upon a card shop simulator with a kooky masked-thief-based twist?  Kardboard Kings - as you can probably tell from the purposely misspelt "K" alone - aims to stand out from the crowd with its chill vibes and distinct art style, offering plenty of nostalgia for anyone who's ever been obsessed with these little wallet-sized cardboards that cost more than our actual wallets. It's made the jump to mobile thanks to Crunchyroll Game Vault, but is it worth signing up for the premium subscription service just for this one alone, or are you better off browsing through the library for something else? ...
