Palworld: Where To Find Huge Dragon Eggs

In Palworld, there are over 70 types of Pals you can capture, even more if you include the evolved forms of the Pals. Through each region and dungeon, you will find a variety of Pals roaming about that you can capture. There is an alternative, however, to getting more Pals.

Incubating and hatching eggs is an easy way to gain XP. You can obtain eggs through your travels throughout the regions and by breeding pals. Some of the eggs will tell you the type, while others will just be common eggs, and they all come in a variety of sizes. One kind of egg in particular is sought after but is rare to find, and that is the Huge Dragon Egg.

What Are Huge Dragon Eggs?

The huge dragon eggs have a black and purple zigzag design, holding a fierce Dragon Pal. While the incubation time varies, it usually takes a few hours to incubate the Huge Dragon Eggs. These eggs spawn randomly, and you will not be guaranteed to find one on a given day. Inside the egg you will most likely find a Jormuntide Ignis.

Huge Dragon Egg Locations

These elusive eggs tend to spawn at higher altitudes such as mountains, stone peaks, or on cliffsides. Before traveling, make sure you are not over incumbered, so you can pick up as many eggs as possible. You may even want to increase your weight capacity before going out to do your egg hunting.

If you head all the way north to the snowy mountains or southwest to Mount Obsidian, you may have a good chance of coming across some Huge Dragon Eggs. In particular, they have been spotted at the Ruined Fortress City as well as along the beach of Fisherman's Point.

If you're looking at the map, walk along the beach to the west of Fisherman's Point. You can sometimes find them on ledges along the rock cliffs. When incubating the eggs, remember the more comfortable the egg is in the incubator, the faster it will incubate. Basically, you just have to walk or fly around the entire area, paying close attention to if you see a purple egg standing out from the cliffs.

Mount Obsidian

The Huge Dragon Egg is said to spawn on Mount Obsidian. You may not encounter very many Pals leading up to this area, and you will have to do a lot of climbing. Your best bet is to ride a flying Pal such as Nitewing, so you can search the area more accurately and efficiently. The enemies further inland on Mount Obsidian are of higher level, so you will want to try to avoid them if you don't want to die an almost immediate death.

Luckily, there are a few fast travel statues you can utilize if you can't find the egg your first time on Mount Obsidian. One of these statues can actually be found at Fisherman's Point, on the beach, which can be a frequent spot for these huge dragon eggs.
