The initial launch of Black Ops 6 Season 1 brought out the long-awaited Warzone integration, revamping the free-to-play mode's mechanics for the better. Even though we have already sunk into its content, the Mid-Season update promises more features across all modes.
Here's everything you need to know about BO6 and Warzone Season 1 Reloaded, including a release date and upcoming content.
Based on the season in-game timer, Black Ops 6 and Warzone Season 1 Reloaded is expected to release on Dec. 12, 2024. The patch will likely go live around 9 a.m. PT, as this is the standard time for Call of Duty drops.
Reloaded patches don't typically require much storage space, but I always recommend clearing out some room, just in case. Fortunately, pre-loads roll out beforehand to prepare you for any patches. These pre-loads allow you to download the update in advance, reducing the wait time on the release day. You may either see this download the night before or a few hours before BO6 and Warzone Season 1 Reloaded release.
Season 1 Reloaded offers three new maps to dive into within BO6 Multiplayer. Hacienda, an iconic map from Black Ops 4, has been remastered for this update, bringing you over to its vineyard estate. Explore the mansion and watch out for enemy attacks in this Core 6v6 medium-sized location.
Try out the upcoming Nuketown Holiday variant map to get you in the holiday spirit. This location marks the arrival of Call of Duty's traditional CODMAS event, which will unleash limited-time modes for the Mid-Season update.
If you're craving something new and thrilling, you can anticipate the latest 2v2/6v6 small-sized map, Racket. Venture into an underground bank vault and get ready for numerous close-quarter combat battles.
The famous Prop Hunt mode should also be arriving soon for Black Ops 6 Multiplayer. Play a game of hide and seek, where you'll take on the role of a prop or a standard Operator.
BO6 Zombies' Season 1 launch introduced Directed Mode, a guided experience for the elaborate Easter Eggs. Although it didn't provide much for those who have already completed these missions, the Mid-Season update presents an all-new challenge with the Citadelle des Morts map.
You'll assume the role of one of the elite Terminus members, taking you inside an abandoned castle filled with the undead. Experience a new Zombies threat, and try to uncover the latest Easter Egg quest for high-valued rewards.
Now that we've gotten familiar with Warzone's Area 99 map, it's time to get locked and loaded in the upcoming Ranked Play. See if you have what it takes to master this Warzone challenge, giving you various rewards with more wins. You can test out Ranked Play in Black Ops 6, which was released during the In-Season update.
Outside of RP and new equipment, there don't seem to be any other Warzone patches for Season 1 Reloaded. However, there have been more and more In-Season updates and fixes to keep things fresh. Rebirth Island, for instance, has been brought back after some issues from Season 1's launch. You can also try the new Hit List event to earn items from eliminations.
Black Ops 6 and Warzone players can look forward to new Loadout content. First, we have the Shrapnel Radar Perk, an ability that reveals enemies on the minimap through blast damage. The High Roller Wildcard will also be coming, providing a fourth Scorestreak for easier kills.
An upcoming event that has yet to be revealed teases a few weapon rewards. This includes the Maelstorm Shotgun, AMR Mod 4 Sniper Rifle, and Cleaver Melee Weapon. They'll presumably appear during a CODMAS event, where you must complete a specific set of objectives.
