One year after the release of Baldur 3, Larian opens a new channel to introduce the behind-the-scenes story

August 3 marks the one-year anniversary of the release of Baldur's Gate 3, and the studio announced that they will open a new YouTube channel: Larian: The Infernal Channel.

There are currently no contributions to this account, but in the promotional copy, Larian introduced it as follows: "From regular live broadcasts and programs introducing our development team, to patch notes, unboxing videos and our current updates, join us on a new adventure to bring you the behind-the-scenes story of our next big event."

Larian added: "The channel will regularly release videos that have never been released, and these videos will be released this summer." As of press time, the channel has gained 11,800 followers.

Since its release last year, Baldur's Gate 3 has won multiple annual game awards and became the first game to win the Game of the Year award at the five major video game awards ceremonies: the Golden Joystick Award, TGA Award, DICE Award, Game Developers Choice Award and British Academy Film Academy Game Award. The gameplay, narrative and production quality have been widely praised. Larian Publishing Director once revealed that by February 26, 2024, the game had sold more than 10 million copies.
